RCCL medical enhancement was done in coordination with the CDC. ICF Group has been playing its role in the background, coordinating the stringent requirements between the CDC and RCCL, to prepare the fleet for passenger service, since the arrival of covid during the public health crisis.

This has resulted in RCCL being the first cruise line to be approved by the CDC for test sailing in June 2021.

ICF Group has worked on a number of areas, including the enhancement of the HVAC systems, ICU wards, Doctor’s Office, Decontamination Rooms, ER Operation Rooms, Waiting areas, Isolation Cabins, Labs, etc.

More than 30 ships from fleets around the world were enhanced, and are now ready for a new season of cruising!
